Notes. As with Solaris one side was polished, whilst the reverse was almost completely patinated. So the story goes Denis gave the artist copy (0) of Solaris to his wife as a present. He borrowed it for an exhibition and it sold! He always promised he would do another one for her, hence Solaris II. Slightly larger and possibly a bit more rounded than Solaris This work featured in all his final exhibitions
