Notes. As with Solaris one side was polished, whilst the reverse was almost
completely
patinated. So the story goes Denis gave the artist copy (0) of Solaris to his
wife as a present. He borrowed it for an exhibition and it sold! He always promised
he would do another one for her, hence Solaris II. Slightly larger and possibly
a bit more rounded than Solaris This work featured in all his final exhibitions
