Notes - We have very little information about this group of work that
stands alone from almost everything else that Denis did. There is evidence to
suggest that some were made from silver, but no images survive of them aside
from a couple of group photographs, one of which is included in the Glynn Vivian
catalogue. Another is reproduced here. From what we have been able to deduce
from surviving records we can only suggest that Saw is the second work
from
the left. The catalogue for the Arnolfini exhibition (1967) lists the work as
Bronze.
