Notes - Polyphant is a village in East Cornwall, but it is more likely That Denis's
sense of humour is at play here. Denis's
wife
had
an extensive collection of pigs. Denis made a number over the years, including
this
example
carved in 1948. The family still has many examples in wood, clay, metal and stone.
