Notes - This work was originally commissioned for the courtyard of the St Nicholas Court Flats, St Ives. Legend has it that a child got their head stuck in it, so the work was returned. There is no record in Denis's diaries as to why the work was returned. As you can see from the picture in the centre above, it certainly does snow in Cornwall. Unlike Scotland it doesn't last long!
